The Beach

Boracay Island has been dubbed one of the “Top Ten Beaches of the World” by CNN and Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, and is cited as one of the “Top Ten Beach Destinations” by the Asian Wall Street Journal. It also garnered the “Best Travel & Leisure Destination” award in the TravelWeekly China Travel and Meetings Industry Awards 2010.

The island’s White Beach is a gradually sloping landscape with sparkling blue waters gently lapping the shore. The sun’s rays beautifully beat down on the powdery white sand. The world-famous beach spans 4-kms long and is ideal for children who can enjoy the smooth sand and shallow waters.

 

Water Sports

Water Sports abound a few kilometers away from the island, with docking stations away from the beach suited with jet skis, speedboats, parasail facilities, as well as banana boat and fly fish equipment. Kayaks and can also be enjoyed around the island, along with skim boarding. Another favorite on the island is sunset sailing, where sail boats are steered by locals while you lounge on the raft with beautiful views of the island and the sea. During the windy season, wind surfers flock from all over the world to enjoy the fun sport in the picturesque island of Boracay.

Island Adventures

Exploring the nearby islands filled with interesting beaches, delightful caves like the Crystal Cave and the Bat Cave, and beautiful corals is one of the activities most guests would not want to miss. Pump boats can be rented from island locals who gladly act as tour guides during the day trip around the neighboring islands and beaches.

Another view that should not be missed is the one seen from the peak of Boracay Island’s tallest mountain, Mt. Luho. To get there, one can opt to take the fast lane by renting an ATV or be one with nature by taking a guided foot hike. Mountain bikes can be rented as well. These facilities are available on the island daily.

Golfers will be left satisfied as well with Fairways and Bluewater’s golf courses easily accessible to our guests. Designed by master golfer and designer Graham V. Marsh, the 18-Hole Par 72 world-class golf course will surely be an exciting challenge.
